Björkliden Fjällby is nestled among majestic mountains with a fantastic view of Lapporten and Torneträsk, one of Sweden's largest lakes. Fjällbyn offers challenges for the whole family. With hotels, holiday cottages and ski lodges Björkliden can offer accommodation to suit all tastes. Hotell Fjället is situated beautifully a bit up the mountain with magnificent views of the mountains. We offer double rooms, two-bed rooms, single rooms and family rooms. The rooms are equipped with telephone, shower / toilet and cable TV.

At Hotell Fjället you will find Restaurant Lapporten and the Rallaren Bar. The bar is open during the winter and in the winter we are visited by various live bands and happy after-ski guests. In front of the fireplace in the hotel lobby you can enjoy the beautiful view and relax with a warming drink. In the lobby you can also buy snacks and refreshments.

Have a comfortable stay in our Cabin Village Kåppas. The cottages are beautifully situated with stunning views of the mountains and the famous Lapporten valley. We offer 4 and 5-bed cottages equipped for self catering. The cottages have two bedrooms, pantry, living room, shower and toilet, drying cabinet and cable TV with radio.

Getting to Björkliden is easy, the train stops in the middle of the village and Kiruna Airport is an hour's journey along the beautiful Nordkallottvägen. A real "kick" is the Låktatjåkko mountain station 1228 metres above sea level, Sweden's highest mountain station. Here you can "enjoy auroras, [have] free access to your own ski mountain, gastronomy and total working atmosphere" everything according to Swedish newspaper Dagens Industri Weekend 2003 # 28. The Restaurant-Lapporten, with Sweden's most beautiful views, specializes in creations from the mountains with game fish, game, mushrooms and berries that are cooked from local ingredients of good quality. Here you can also find dishes from all over the world and a host of options in good wines.
