The hotel is an old warehouse from the eighteenth century located right next to the dock in Kalmar visitors’ harbour.
With a gentle hand a charming hotel with unique ambiance was created in 1986. There are 87 contemporary guest rooms with 152 beds where logs and rafters remain. Most of the rooms have a splendid view of Kalmar and the Öland bridge. Fifteen of the rooms have private balconies with outdoor furniture. All you have to do is dock the boat.
A brand new penthouse was opened in 2004. There is air conditioning as well as electric beds in all rooms. Breakfast is taken in during the summer on our pier directly out in Kalmarsund (Kalmar Sound). We always offer afternoon coffee with homemade biscuits and the evening paper, evening buffet between 18-21 and table drink.
Kalmar offers a wide range of things to do and see, such as shopping, Kalmar Castle, Kalmar County Museum, close proximity to the Glasriket ( Kingdom of Crystal) and Öland.
