The hotel is located on the Adeje Coast, the most exclusive area in southern Tenerife, with an annual average temperature of 23 degrees centigrade. The hotel has already collected numerous awards, including the Conde Nast Johansen Award for Best European & Mediterranean Resort in 2006, which is particularly worth mentioning.
This newly renovated hotel in 2010 is located only 17 km from Reina Sofia Airport (on the southern part of the island) and 80 km from Los Rodeos Airport (on the northern part of the island) and has 390 rooms; 324 doubles, 51 junior suites and 15 suites on five floors that are recently refurbished and designed to offer maximum comfort to our guest. The rooms are decorated to the smallest detail with Canary Island’s pine, stone and lime. All rooms open out onto the sea or our luscious gardens and natural spaces so you can enjoy Tenerife´s spectacular light, the warmth of its sunrays and the wonderful view over the Atlantic Ocean and La Gomera.
Stroll through the spectacular 12,000 square metre sub-tropical garden with over 1,700 species of trees and plants, where guests cannot fail to find many magical places.
All the 310 rooms are decorated in warm colors and natural wood furnishings. In addition, they have all the modern conveniences of air conditioning, mini-bar, safe, telephone, LCD satellite TV and balcony or terrace facing the sea or on our beautiful natural wooded areas so that you can enjoy the pleasant sea breeze and warmth of the Tenerife sun whenever you like while enjoying the wonderful view.
The main feature of the 80 suites, also luxuriously furnished down to the last detail and with a large bedroom with a dressing room, a living room and a marble bathroom, is their furniture in colonial style and their exclusive services, including a set of aromatherapy and pillow menus.

"Las Rocas", our beloved restaurant specializes in fresh fish and shellfish. Here these two elements are combined in a skilful way, with traditional ingredients in the Canarian cuisine. It is situated on a hillside and offers guests a magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean, while enjoying the taste and feel of their extraordinary dishes.
This a la carte restaurant serves lunches and dinners and attracts tourists from all over the island.
The "El Patio" gourmet restaurant at the Hotel Jardin Tropical guarantees the guests a five-star service that distinguishes the hotel and is offered in all facilities and restaurants, coupled with the kitchen, which is well cared for by Álvaro Garcés, who with his faultless course, combines Mediterranean flavors with new textures and presentations.
At "El Patio" the atmosphere is intimate and cozy and ideal for a party. The restaurant has a varied menu during the winter and summer seasons -tastes from yesterday with the technology of today. All this is complemented by an extraordinary degustation menu.
"Las Mimosas", the hotel's gastronomic heart, offers delicious cuisine for its guests every morning with a generous buffet breakfast in the bright, open environment. Whether we are talking about dishes prepared in front of the customer's eyes or the deliciously ripe fruit, guests can choose from a huge variety of food at this buffet restaurant that is open for both lunch and dinner.
"Los Cucuruchos" serves snacks, lunch and dinner in a very relaxed atmosphere. Here customers can choose from an extensive menu with all kinds of meats, fish, bagels, sandwiches, hamburgers, milkshakes, ice cream cones and cookies, and a salad bar.
Our brand new à-la-carte restaurant “Eizo” opens only for dinner. Here you can enjoy the excellent kitchen of this Japonese restaurant.
Bars
"Lobby Bar" opens in the afternoon and serves coffee, tea and cakes every day while enjoying a few notes at the piano.
"Los Cucuruchos" serves snacks at the partially covered poolside terrace. In addition, it also offers a salad bar every day from 13 to 16.
"Las Rocas" bar, which is located directly in the Beach Club, serves customers refreshing drinks next to the sea thirteen hours a day.
"Cafe de Paris" opens at 20:00 and offers live music and a large number of shows until one o’clock in the morning while you enjoy a wide selection of cocktails, ranging from the classic "mojitos", "Margarita" and "caipirinhas" to the most elaborate drinks.
Wellness & Spa
Hotel Jardín Tropical offers customers who enjoy wellness activities or want an "active" holiday its newly refurbished well-being oasis "Tropical Wellness". In addition to having a sauna, Turkish bath, algae and sea mud-pack bath , Jacuzzi, multi-jet showers and rest area with sun loungers, there are various state-of-the-art individual treatments such as massage, lymphatic drainage, reflexology, Hot Stone Massage and aroma therapy that can be found in our spa area.
In the fitness centre, tourists who prefer to enjoy their holidays in a more active way re-energize by practicing yoga or taking stretching and Pilates classes.
In addition, the centre has a hair and beauty salon offering facials- and body treatments with the biggest cosmetic brands, perfect for restoring the skin's natural color, firmness and luminosity.

Golf Las Americas (3 km), Golf Costa Adeje (8 km), Golf del Sur (17 km), Amarilla Golf (16 km), Buena Vista Golf (60 km) and Real Club de Golf (93 km).Guests at the Hotel Jardín Tropical will also receive a special discount at Abama Golf (only 15 km away).
In addition, Jardín Tropical is the only hotel where you can make reservations in advance and get a reduced green fee.
