A luxury hotel, emblem of Le Touquet’s growth during the 1920 to 1930 era. The Hotel was built in 1925-28 by the Architect Auguste Bluysen and was named after the Duchess of Westminster. At the time, the town was still a new, upcoming holiday resort with the evocative name of Le Touquet Paris Plage. During the First World War, one of its casinos was converted into a 400-bed Hospital.
In the heart of one of the most elegant quarters of Le Touquet, just 500m from the beach and 150m from the Palais des Congrès, the 1930’s charm of the Westminster and it’s sober luxury, set within an Anglo-Normandy Art Deco style, continue to attract.
