Vaxjö Golf Club, situated in the heart of Småland, is a parkland course in a beautiful environment, located on a nature reserve. There are unique training opportunities here and a popular restaurant that offers a varied menu. The course consists of 18 varying holes that are a challenge for all categories of golfers. It is known for his tough and memorable end, holes 17 and 18, where thoughtfulness and courage are rewarded. Vaxjö Golf Club was founded 1959. The scenic facility that is adjacent to Helgasjöns beach (Lake Helga’s) is a combined parkland and woodland course. The golf course, designed by Douglas Brasier, was playable with nine holes in 1961 and with 18 holes in1968.The course is perhaps best known for having one of Sweden's most difficult closing holes. Each year about 6,000 green fee guests visit the club.
