Ekerum

One of Sweden's absolutely best golf facilities, now with play on two 18-hole courses – Lång Jan (Long Jan) and Långe Erik (Long Erik). Ekerum’s golf course opened in June 1990. It was classified in 1994 and 1996 as one of Sweden's 25 best courses. Designed by Peter Nordwall who has also designed many other of the country's best courses. Wide fairways, numerous and deceptive bunkers and large undulating greens. A combination parkland and woodland course. Ekerum has become both longer and wider. On 25 March, 2004, the two challenging 18-hole golf courses opened. The new nine holes are also Peter North Wall’s work. Both courses are characterized by generous fairways, challenging greens and a feeling that you are alone on each hole. The club house has a very high standard of changing rooms, showers and sauna. There is a nice pavilion between the 9th and 10th hole for a brief and much-needed break. In addition, there is a large practice area with driving range, putting green, pitching green and practice bunkers. In addition to all this is there is also a well-run, shorter nine-hole course.
