Leksands GK

Leksand GK Leksand Golf Club was founded in the late seventies, and in 1984 you could play on its 18-hole course. The course was designed by Nils Skold and has since undergone changes with the new green areas, which among others Bengt Lorichs and our own club forces have been involved in. Leksand golf course is beautifully situated by the bird lake Limsjön and with Åsledsberget in the background. Its location makes it possible to see a great number of migratory birds in the spring and fall, and we have many different seabirds that nest here. The course’s slightly undulating nature makes sit varied for all players; the course yellow tee 5,454metres may seem easy, but offers good resistance for low scorers. The beautiful and high situated area club house area with several timber buildings offers a wonderful view of the course. Fät Gärdas Manor House is also here, which is a renovated Dalecarlian house that is worth a visit. Directions: The course is located 3 km north of Leksand. Follow highway 70 towards Rättvik.
