Carlskrona GK

Carkskrona GK Carlskrona GK is Sweden's third oldest club, founded in 1906, but it was not until 1955 that the business ended up in the middle of the beautiful Blekinge archipelago on Almö. Despite its position in the archipelago there is a fixed connection to the island and only 40 km from the E22 motorway, between Karlskrona and Ronneby. The course is of park character and not very difficult play. From almost every hole there is some kind of view of the sea. When it’s windy, it can be tough. Hole 15 is the course’s signature hole, a short par 3 where you are high up a view of the neighboring island. Holes 3, 7 and 16 could also enter in the competition f or the "most beautiful hole". This first-class 8-hole course is known for high quality and can also offer a nice club house facility, restaurant, shop and good training opportunities at the newly renovated range. Within the area there are also opportunities for cheap and good accommodation in "SelmasHus" and the newly constructed "Runes Stugby". The course is located in a nature reserve and adjacent to Hjortahammar, which is an old district with cultural tradition with rich relics from the early Iron Age. There are plenty of beaches around the island, a couple of them at a comfortable distance from the course. Seaborne guests can be received at the club's own pier and caravans and motor homes are welcome to a special parking close to the first tee. Spoil yourself with a pleasant golf experience on Almö!
