Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas
A group of British citizens, in a place on our Island , known as Lomo del Polvo, held a meeting on the17th of December 1891, founding “Las Palmas Golf Club”.
The Gran Canarian, Juan Dominguez Guedes, and the British course designer Mackenzie Ross , built up a strong friendship during the many visits of D. Juan Dominguez to England.
Their great love of golf caused, these two historical characters, to develop the project that would result, in 1957, in what is today Bandama “Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas”.
