Son Vida
The Son Vida Golf Course was opened in 1964 and ranks as one of the most beautiful courses on the island. The broad fairways offer wonderful views of the spectacular surroundings and the Palma bay.
F.W. Hawtree made the most of the terrain that lies below the castle Son Vida. Almost 40 years later, an extensive renovation by the German architect Kurt Rosskneckt improved the water and drainage system, not to mention the relocation of several greens that are now faster and have a finer contour. This rebuilding has extended the course by 90 yards. Pines, palms and almond trees are magnificent when they bloom in February and is the largest part of the difficulty together with bunker greens. Excellent green keeping and the finishing hole are a very good reason to come back for more.
