Golf Santa Ponsa

At this soon historic facility you are always well looked after. A grand clubhouse with old ancestry offers good food and a lovely restaurant beside a small swimming pool. Training facilities are good and there is a chipping and pitching area, putting green and driving range. There is quite a lot of Swedish connection as Princess Birgitta is an ambassador for the club and Olga Lallerstedt is involved in many aspects.

There are three courses - Santa Ponsa I, II & and the nine-hole course. But it's just Santa Ponsa I that is open for play as the other is private.

Santa Ponsa I offer several excellent and challenging golf holes, relatively wide fairways and a fair layout where good shots are rewarded. The greens are of good quality and the fairways are in good condition. The course is over 6,000 metres from the yellow tee, which means that the holes are long and that is the main difficulty. Water obstacles, bunkers and trees are well-placed and the layout feels well thought out. Santa Ponsa is a must when you are going to play golf in Majorca.

When booking tee times you must provide a credit card number and cancellation of start times should be made well in advance.
