This classic parkland course, which was designed by the 1998 winner of the US Open and US Masters, Mark O’Meara, is so beautiful that is can lull you into a calm, however it is despite this, filled with challenges. You will notice that you have to advance along the shores of the Ryes river to subsequently vault the ball over its golden water. And when you cross the greens it feels as if your feet are floating over thousands of velvety kisses from underneath.
”Carton is a magic place, filled with beauty and wonderful history. My idea for this golf course was to make sure that members and guests have fun on the course. You have to challenge the golf player on all levels and I think that I have succeeded in achieving that goal. I'm fascinated by what we have created here”.
