The golf course Sonnenalp is located only 500 meters from the Hotel & Resort Sonnenalp in Ofterschwang. The exclusive 18-hole championship course (6 133 metres, par 73) was designed by Donald Harradine in 1975 and is in perfect harmony with the picturesque landscape of the alpine upland. In front of the always impressive mountain scenery the course offers both the scratch player as well as a golfer with a higher handicap a particularly well-maintained facility with excellent fairways. The 18 holes require technical skills, the right game plan and sometimes to have the courage to take risks. In 2008, the course was redesigned and modernized by the architect Kurt Rossknecht. To play comfortable and stressless rounds of golf there are electric trolleys and E-carts available.
