Costa Blanca
One of the newest golf courses in the area and throughout the country, it is an essential part of the Costa Blanca's golf and beach tourist property project, which is being developed by the Metro Group.
The first nine holes will open during 2010 and the second nine should be done by spring 2011.
Its signature design is by Greg Norman, the renowned Australian golfer known as the "Great White Shark" and for his 20 victories in PGA tournaments, including two British Opens (1986, 1993). What stands out in Norman's designs are his great respect for the flora and fauna where the golf course is to be built. Costa Blanca's course will not be an exception. The natural lagoons and entire ecosystem of the area is being integrated into it the landscape creating an eco-paradise that includes eight holes on the shores of the Caribbean Sea.
